Looks like Gorish Aggarwal is asking me for Employee Happiness tips 😂😂 Here’s my list: 1. Initiate a system to receive employee feedback (so, they can vent their frustration ?) 2. Provide transparency on company/department goals and team performance (to tell why they are working their *** off ?) 3. Formalize upward feedback cadence for managers (so, that they can hold you responsible for your behavior ?) 4. Promote work life balance (or at least internally market that you value that ? 😅) 5. Host regular team events (so that, at least some of them are friends with each other ? ) Add your ideas!

Just Another Manic Monday - Since starting my Wall Street career as a bond trader at Bear Stearns & Co. in the summer of 1986, I have had the distinct displeasure of having experienced some gut-wrenching market drawdowns and volatility over the years. Just to name a few…“Black Monday” in October 1987 when the stock market crashed 22% in one day. The bursting of the “Dot Com” bubble in 2000. The events of September 11th 2001. The Global Financial Crisis caused by the housing collapse in 2009. After surviving so many market events during the past 38 years, I trust that today is just another manic Monday. Which of course reminded me of a great tune released that same summer that I began working on Wall Street – “Manic Monday” from The Bangles. Click to listen and I’m sure that it will put you in a better mood as positive memories are dug up from our halcyon days in the 1980s. https://lnkd.in/eDTQ3U2c Drawdowns happen every year in the market, and usually equating to about a 10% correction. And the market always comes back. No reason for this one to be any different this time. That being said, maintaining a diversified portfolio is what helps us navigate these manic Mondays. All asset classes will never move in the same direction when corrections hit, they are just not that correlated, so it helps to be diversified. And owning the “Magnificent Seven” does not qualify as being diversified. So, Double Eagle Partners will maintain our diversified portfolio and not panic. It's just another manic Monday, I wish it was Sunday. 'Cause that's my fun day! Cheers, Jim Claire P.S. - sorry, but I know that song is now stuck in your head!
