🔥 Passionate Operations & People Ops Innovator at Premium Plus | Elevating CX & EX to New Heights with Zendesk 🚀
𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲-𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 Did you know that people issues often surpass business challenges once your company hits 15-20 members? At Premium Plus, we cracked the growth code early by investing in our People & Culture department when we were just 10 strong. We didn't wait for issues to arise; we preemptively created a dedicated role to manage and nurture our team’s culture. It started small—one person splitting their time, dedicating just 20% to this crucial function. But the impact was monumental. Viewing this as an investment, not a cost, has been a game-changer. A huge shoutout 👏 to Ana Luísa Santos, our People & Culture Manager, for stepping up and making a difference years ago. Is your company investing in its people (department) early? If not, it's time to rethink your strategy. 🚀

Building the future of restaurant delivery | Streamlining the process from order to door | Founder & CEO @Andromeda
30 years of being a CEO/Founder taught me this. (It’s all on me) I am as successful as my people. If my team is not performing, it’s my fault, not theirs. I did not build a winning mentality. It is my responsibility and nobody else’s. I made a fair bit of mistakes at the beginning of my journey. When we lost a client, I showed my frustration to my team and blamed them for not delivering. Wrong!!! Everything is on me when things do not work. However, it is the opposite with wins. Always give credit to your team, they did most of the work. I managed, but all kudos to them. This is my motto. That is why I survived and thrived in a highly competitive space of food tech for 30 years. PS Do you agree -> everything that happens to you is on you? ------------------------------- I'm Ben, founder and CEO @Andromeda. My mission? Making delivery run smarter, quicker, and turn more profit. Sound like something you want? Book a 1:1 call with me and ask me anything.

"Execution trumps knowledge every day of the week" encapsulates the essence of turning potential into tangible results. Knowledge, undoubtedly valuable, serves as the foundation for growth and innovation. It opens doors, sparks ideas, and provides the tools for success. However, the real power lies in execution. Without action, knowledge remains dormant, a mere collection of facts and insights without any impact on the world. It's the difference between knowing how to build a bridge and actually constructing one. In this case, the bridge becomes the embodiment of execution, the manifestation of applied knowledge. In a world where information is abundant, the ability to transform that knowledge into meaningful outcomes is what truly sets individuals and organizations apart. I often encounter individuals who possess a wealth of knowledge, yet their lives or endeavors show little progress. This phenomenon highlights the crucial importance of execution. It's not enough to accumulate knowledge; one must be willing to act upon it. The world rewards those who take initiative, make decisions, and bring ideas to life. To unlock the true potential of knowledge, one must embrace the power of execution. Whether in personal growth, business ventures, or creative pursuits, the mantra remains the same – gather knowledge, but let it fuel your actions. Only through consistent and deliberate execution can one bridge the gap between potential and reality, transforming what could be into what is. ~ Rick Wallace, Ph.D., Psy.D. _________________________________ Additional Resources: Check out my bio, current projects, upcoming live events, books, client reviews, and more. Navigating the cultural landscape = Cultural alignment of strategic actions 🤔 How did I plan the next actions in our family business Trixin d.o.o. (Yes, in the last period I needed a break from our venture so I spent a bit more time on our family business) There were two main questions I posed myself: 1- What are the business goals we want to achieve 2- What’s the underlying culture we need to build to reach that goals whilst enjoying the ride And than transitioning to actions 3- Which actions will be the most suitable for both culture and business? I created a cultural landscape marking the point where we are right now and the goal, where we want to be in three years. This gave me the direction of the transformation vector. Secondly I chose the actions that will give us the most velocity and are aligned with the chosen direction. In that way I was able to select just a few powerful strategic things that will give us the most impact. Understanding your trajectory is key to align the strategic actions to the culture you’re building. #organizationalculture #strategy #culture #business

OKRs can make good companies great. But we'll need to decide what we're ready to let go of first. What are we going to stop doing so we can set aspirational goals to target new levels of excellence and impact? You can't just add OKRs on top of everything else And expect to gain the benefits.
