Greek marinas are changing course with the contribution of the "UPGRADE OF TOURIST PORTS" program of the Recovery and Resilience Fund, which is co-financed by the European Union - NextGeneration EU. As recently announced by the Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, 41 investment projects totaling around 182 million were submitted for the upgrading of the tourist ports, a demand that exceeds the available budget. More than twenty aid applications have already been approved, while some have been rejected. Both categories of approved and rejected applications include some of the largest or most iconic marinas in Greece. The approved aid applications include the investment projects of the Flisvos and Corfu Marinas of the Lamda Group, the Elounda Hills marina of Vitali Borisov's mega project, the Asteras Vouliagmenis marina and others. The rejected applications include, among others, those of Marina Alimos, Marina of Porto Karras etc.
