I’m thrilled to share that we’ve raised our Series A. It's a $17.5M round led by Accel. I joined Priya Anand from Bloomberg to dive deeper into why now is the right time to harness the power of AI in support of a more sustainable fashion ecosystem. Link in the comments. 1. AI-powered inventory decisions boost revenue and reduce waste Ferdinand and I created Syrup after partnering directly with industry veterans who believed in a world where brands could be more sustainable without sacrificing profitability, but did not see a clear path forward. That’s changing. We’re incredibly excited that so many others believe in our mission. And we’re just getting started. I want to offer a special thank you to the team that brought us this far. Our lofty goal is to create a world where commerce is no longer wasteful by solving (some of) the industry’s hardest problems — and it takes extraordinary people to make that a reality.

From a VC perspective, companies like Revv are the dream. A technical team building in a fast growing (but hidden) market, with a product uniquely enabled by newly invented tech. And most importantly, a product that generates substantial revenue for customers 💰 💰 💰 So what does Revv do? First, some background. Modern vehicles are full of sensors which power features like reverse parking and blind spot detection. When vehicles are involved in a collision, these sensors need to be recalibrated. Sensor calibration involves reading the fine print in vehicle documentation and varies for every make, model and year - there are actually over 500,000 calibration permutations that exist today! The end result is that technicians simply don't perform these calibrations because it's too much work 🚗 🚗 🚗 Revv's software uses LLMs to surface the appropriate calibrations to technicians, resulting in an incremental $1200 revenue per job. 🤑 Around 50% of vehicles on the road today have sensors and this number will approach 100% in the coming years.
