Biggest takeaway - Having a robust team with good succession planning. It is not just about you being replaced for good, you will be away from time to time. It will be unfair if you don’t ensure you have a strong backup and structure. Without that, your team will be negatively impacted by your absence. Some may think it can help magnify their importance but that’s the furthest from the truth. You need to assure your stakeholders of your ability to ensure continuity and your capability goes beyond personal strength. Without a doubt, she is ready for her new role. Perhaps even during the last election If you want to go fast, you go alone. If you want to go far, you go together.
In a striking display of unity, all 50 Democratic state chairs have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s new presidential nominee. Yet, amid her historic candidacy, Americans debate her leadership credentials while she battles persistent race and gender biases. The stories you need to know at bt.sg

The post below is a great post and has a clear message being sent. In full disclosure, each time I see a post promoting Kamala's POTUS candidacy, there is always a glamour shots pic of her with mention of the plight of black women in politics... This concerns me! Let's all be sure to remember what the role of the POTUS is. I for one couldnt care less about how Kamala looks nor what she symbolizes as a minority woman in American politics. As with every other candidate, let's focus squarely on what she plans to do as POTUS and what history does she have that supports the notion that she can deliver on her plans. I hear references to how sad of a candidate trump was and how he still became POTUS... How pathetic it is to reference someone who was proven to have used illegal means (Russian direct influence) in getting elected as an excuse for pushing another unqualified candidate. Let's do what we know is right and forget the one poor example we have in Trump as we field a 2024 candidate to compete against Trump. If Kamala is the best candidate then show the proof and drop the glamour shots and empathic narrative associated with her racial or gender identity. #DoingRightIsStillRight

We all have our reasons, this one is mine. "Unity and support are the pillars that hold up dreams of progress and change." SS~ As I was running for the Arizona State House of Representatives, I had several young ladies volunteer on my campaign. Many of them expressed their dreams of becoming the first female President. Today, I received many messages from those young ladies, inspired by the news of our VP Kamala Harris being endorsed by President Biden for President of the United States. I know a little bit about the state-side arena of politics and how your own party can be your biggest enemy. I know what it feels like, as a Black woman in politics, to run a race without the support of more than race and gender. So, I stand with the decision of President Biden to endorse VP Kamala Harris for President in this 2024 Presidential election. This means more than many could ever truly imagine. I hope the Democratic Party learns what it means to stand united and support VP Kamala Harris in this run for President. I am Shante Saulsberry. #WomenInPolitics #womenunited #SupportKamala #UnitedWeStand #PresidentialEndorsement

Check out our latest updates this week on the presidential election!
Kamala Harris narrows the gap against Donald Trump in a new poll released today by The New York Times/Siena. In spite of facing continued racial, sexual and gender attacks, support for Harris continues to increase for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. She has secured enough delegates to receive the nomination but party leaders assured there would be a “transparent and orderly process” to select the official nominee ahead of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next month. She’s also recently supported Black businesswomen Beyonce and Tyra Banks.

CONFLICT TRANSFORMATION: LATINOS IN TEXAS CAN MAKE HISTORY https://lnkd.in/gmz__Xjg Latinos in the Latino States should use the opportunity to make history and transform the conflict of losing democracy forever. They can do it and claim rightfulness to the Land, heirs to the long tradition of democracy, and their lands, which they have inhabited since immemorial times. It only takes their vote, and they will secure their rightful place in the nation's decision-making that long excluded them. https://lnkd.in/gtp4G-8v Latinos, like Appalachian peoples, have been dismissed as a burden to the nation and as people incapable of deciding what is good for them. This is when they can say they can elect a president in the most powerful nation on the planet. The Latino vote is essential. Latinos must stop the non-sensical #JuJuMAGANDO and make themselves symbols of democracy in the world. This is not what makes a Latino-Latino: https://lnkd.in/gCSBDYw3 Latinos have been used, made afraid, and kept poor and servile, but now they can choose the first female president and split American history. This is when Latinos can shine with all their brightness and save democracy. 'Just do it" Si see puede! In the annals of American political history, the alignment of Black voters with the Democratic Party has been a steadfast narrative, etched with ideals of progress, equality, and representation. Yet, within this allegiance, fissures have emerged, revealing a landscape brimming with multifaceted concerns and unaddressed aspirations. The loyalty that once seemed unwavering is now subject to introspection and reevaluation, poised on the cusp of transformation. This book delves into the intricate tapestry of factors contributing to a potential paradigm shift in Black voters' allegiance. Twelve poignant inquiries serve as signposts, illuminating the divergent paths traversed by the Democratic Party and the evolving expectations of the Black electorate. Economic policies, an anchor in political platforms, come under scrutiny for their efficacy in narrowing the wealth chasm and remedying economic disparities within Black communities. Education reform, a cornerstone of societal progress, is questioned for its ability—or lack thereof—to redress systemic issues disproportionately affecting Black students. From the towering concerns of criminal justice reform and healthcare accessibility to the fertile ground of entrepreneurship and community investment, each question encapsulates a sphere of critical concern, a facet of the larger prism through which loyalty to the Democratic Party is being redefined. Moreover, the inquiry extends beyond policy. It ventures into the realm of representation—seeking not just a seat at the table but an authentic voice in leadership and decision-making. It probes the resonance of messages, the authenticity of engagement, and the balance between dependency and empowerment. Embedded in this exploration is a quest for historical acknowledgment, a plea for accountability for past injustices that have marred the Black experience. The canvas widens to embrace alternative perspectives, beckoning ideologies that resonate more vibrantly with the aspirations and needs of a community seeking an alignment more attuned to its evolution. At the heart of this narrative lies the evolving sociopolitical landscape—a tapestry woven with shifting dynamics, cultural metamorphoses, and emerging priorities. Herein lies the crux of the inquiry: Are the traditional platforms of the Democratic Party evolving to meet the changing needs of the Black electorate, or are the winds of change ushering in new possibilities? The kaleidoscope of perspectives within these questions reflects the uniqueness of each individual's vantage point, shaped by experiences, aspirations, and a vision for policies that serve to uplift, and truly empower the community. This book aims to navigate this terrain, offering insight, introspection, and a canvas for a robust dialogue—an odyssey into the shifting sands of political allegiance and the quest for a more resonant and responsive political landscape.

CONFLICT ASSESSMENT: THE THEORY OF INTERSECTIONALITY- BLACKS, LATINOS, INDIGENOUS AND ASIANS SHARED IN THE UGLINESS OF HUMANITY: HATE, SEXISM AND RACISM AS MUCH AS CAUCASIANS, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE TO! https://lnkd.in/gz47UCsv Obama was calling black males on a theory of intersectionality (or intersectional theory), where overlapping and intersecting positive and negative social identities and related systems of oppression, domination, or discrimination exist in all human groups. https://lnkd.in/gbsNVYfB When Trump wanted to shoot and put protesters in camps, it would happen for minorities and Caucasians who may be activists for a healthy democracy or comedians, but minorities were the targets. https://lnkd.in/grYWgDzw Now, under white supremacist, fascist rule, most white Caucasians would be saved and may go undisturbed since skin colour is the target for harm, but they have the 'right' skin tone. https://lnkd.in/gUJ-Rtza When Hitler was killing the Jews, they went to ancestry and genetic features because skin colour and religious affiliation were not enough. In the USA, it is, and Obama should be concerned. https://lnkd.in/gF7whDxV The problem with these morally degenerated hateful groups is that there is a large group of pseudo-scientists joining to do the atrocities like medical doctors in nazi Europe https://lnkd.in/gBaDUnun They will do what Trump asks of them. You should be concerned. Project 2025. https://lnkd.in/gQM6WjMV Blacks, Latinos, Indigenous, and Indigenous can be racist, sexist, hateful, corrupted, genociders and criminals as much as Caucasians. That's the reason they follow Republicans. Caucasian Democrats are safer and profit from the destruction through ideology and weapons. https://lnkd.in/gUdVq-fM Now, the fear of minorities like Obama seeing the support for an openly racist, fascist, despotic party is accurate, and you should. Still, when white, you are safer even when you are a Democrat. Some Latinos are going for that advantage. https://lnkd.in/g3FfJ484 Peace is the best way to live; fascism and white supremacy stall it for many!
