I had the pleasure of speaking with my good friend and colleague Jim Love a few days ago. We discussed recent cyber attacks on health care institutions and the vulnerabilities that hospitals may not be aware of associated with medical devices. There are worrying gaps in accountability for critical requirements like software patching but there is also hope. A better understanding of the networked ecosystem and good governance over cyber risk can help protect institutions from future attack. Have a listen and let me know what you think.
