Last-minute withdrawals negatively impact all players attending. Keep reminding all your players how important it is to respond early and accurately to ensure consistent attendance.

To clarify....we've been using AI generated images of late for some of our posts....and we are intentionally messing around trying to create bizarre hockey images. A few folks have pointed out oddities in the images, which is just us having fun with that tech.....

Given the topic of the day in Leaf land, one great aspect of a weekly pickup #hockey game is that all players develop respect for each other, no matter how you set teams. Eventually you are teammates with everyone in you lineup.

Should we host an end of season bash for our players and organizers here in Guelph? Basically, play some pickup hockey together, then head to a bar/restaurant together, maybe with some live music. Who's interested??

If you want your subs to actually showup to your pickup #hockey game, ask them to pay for their spot BEFORE! It works. The people who don't pay just aren't committed to that week's game and that's a good thing to know. The people who pay will make every effort to get there.

Yes, as a player on our platform, there are a few hacks you can leverage in order to access an upcoming game BEFORE you've actually been invited. To be clear, it's bad etiquette to grab spots in a game until you're formally invited. If you're unsure, login and make sure that game's listed in your Invited list.
