This week gave birth to a much-needed boost to the world of investment platforms. The arrival of The Platforms Association has been welcomed across the industry amid increasing regulatory scrutiny and a UK government overhaul of the ISA market. As the sector approaches £1Tn of assets under administration, key players from across the industry such as Aegon, Quilter, SS&C Intralinks and many others, have come together to advocate interests covering business operations and performance, the promotion of high standards of conduct and the advancement of consumer interests.
