💡 Very interesting to see how influencers/creators are being invited to attend and speak at the Democratic Convention in the US. But why?!💡 These influencers with their combined millions of followers will be looking to amplify their profiles and messages outside of TikTok and Meta by sharing a podium with the top tier of Democratic politics. Influencers, brands and organisations are symbiotic. As is shown by the number of influencers invited to the convention, there is a desire to be able to resonate inside **and** outside of Social Media. This will be the next wave of Influencer Marketing. I call it Open Web Influencer Marketing. Influencers need access to their native social media audiences, that's for sure ... but there are huge rewards in promoting their profiles and messages, in this case across TV screens and digital news articles across the globe, but more importantly being able to exploit the huge revenue potential that exists outside of TikTok and Meta's ecosystems.
