Thank you LAP Health and Ana Maria Palusci RN, PMP, MBA- Business Analytics, Applied AI/ML for putting together this #thumbnail! #diabetesmanagement and #diabeticretinopathy is one of THE most common chronic diseases that a Family Physician tackles day in and day out! Almost always, the physician walks the entire journey along with this patient, investing ample time on behavioural change and patient education to prevent complications such as #diabeticretinopathy. But #retinopathy still persists, both globally and in Canada! What if utilizing #datainteroperability and #AIandML models could stall this growing problem? Can it be addressed with #digitaltools while promoting a #patientcenteredcare and a #providercentredcare? #burnoutprevention I would love to know your thoughts on this use-case that will be presented at #FHLIP2024 Conference next week! #preventivemedicine #chroniccaremanagement

Chief Executive Officer, Performance Physical Therapy; Founder, Performance Executive Coaching, LLC Offering Coaching Services Focused on Business Structure, Profit and Leadership in Private Practice Physical Therapy
"Thinking Thursday"! As physical therapy and medical practice owners, we spend a lot of our time and energy "getting ahead". Being the best practice in your community, getting more referrals, and expanding locations all seem to be reasonable and desirable goals that should lead to profitability. Do you think you can do that alone as the owner? What is the resource that will "get you there"? If you are not taking care of the people you have hired to take care of the people you USED to take care of (your patients), then "getting there" will be a struggle at best. Ask me how I know! Reach out to me for practical tips on how to build up the most valuable resource you have! #physicaltherapy #privatepractice #profit #leadership #executivecoaching

Loved this opportunity to bring to life the important message about human error Human being make up a massive part of any business They are incredibly innovative, adaptable, flexible and get stuff done in various complex environments But they are also falible and make mistakes When we blame we lose the opportunity to learn If we all understand human error more we would have a better chance of setting people up for more success 😎 That’s good for people and good for businesses What’s your view on human error? #humanerror #culture #highperformance

Humans make errors, asking why is key to learning. 🚫No one goes to work to make a mistake . 🧐 Delve a little deeper into the systems, processes, equipment, environment and documentation etc. 🗣Have an open conversation with those involved, with an open mind. 🚷Focussing on the "who" prevents learning 🤔Thinking more about "what" and "why" will lead you to a little nuggets of joy🌠 (also known as learnings/improvements/innovation/development and safer processes💫)

Healthcare and non-profit leader, policy wonk, 5-tool player, career planning guru, Jedi Master mentor & recognition rainmaker 🏆
A solid rule when evaluating partners in any industry, especially healthcare: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If leaders of a prospective partner stand there like Willy Wonka, grinning and declaring the whole factory is edible… trust me, it’s not. 🍭🚫 As leaders—elected or appointed—we need the wisdom to see through such promises. Experience, reason, and a study of past behavior reveal that some will say or do anything to access the assets of your organization. We must stand strong, even when faced with pressure and theatrics. 💪🎭 Vote Aaron Byzak for Tri-City Healthcare District 2024! ✅ Tri-City Medical Center #LeadershipMatters #HealthcareLeadership #IntegrityFirst #VoteForChange #Byzak2024 #TriCityHealthcare

by Maria Ross Today we’re diving into Pillar Four of the 5 Pillars of Effective Empathetic Leadership featured in the new book coming September 10, The Empathy Dilemma – Decisiveness. Yes, factoring in various viewpoints is the way forward for empathetic leaders – and enables us to see more opportunities and avoid more risks. . But we must combine that with swift and decisive action to make a call. Leaving your people in limbo or avoiding difficult conversations is unkind. And leaves your people paralyzed, unsure what to believe, do or expect
