At the end of September 2023, the total number of fixed broadband users in Japan reached 46.47 million, a year-on-year increase of 1.47 million. FTTH users reached 39.97 million, a year-on-year increase of 1.87 million. For fixed broadband users, Japan's FTTH users continue to grow, while CATV and DSL users continue to decline. And for mobile broadband users, 5G users continue to rise rapidly, BWA (broadband wireless access) users continue to grow, while LTE users and 3G users further shrink. #ftth #fibertothehome #5g

📢 Big News for Tech Enthusiasts & Professionals! 🚀 The Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has officially released QCVN 117:2023/BTTTT, setting new standards for GSM/WCDMA/LTE terminal equipment. This regulation comes into effect on Feb 15, 2024, marking a significant update in the telecom industry's standards. Between Feb 15 and June 30, 2024, importers and manufacturers have the flexibility to comply with either QCVN 117:2020/BTTTT or the updated QCVN 117:2023/BTTTT. However, starting July 1, 2024, the latest standards must be strictly followed. Noteworthy is the exemption of LTE phones from VoLTE testing and the temporary non-applicability of certain items, pending future regulations.
