You’ve probably seen a community that goes something like this— Creator builds an audience around a problem. Creator builds a product for said problem. Product also has what we call an ‘afterthought’ community… — You join, and the chat is dead. Crickets. You’re by yourself in a library of modules. You send a DM, and get no response. You shrug. It seems like this is the norm. — BUT THIS IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT A COMMUNITY SHOULD BE. A community should welcome you with a magical first experience. It should immediately introduce you to the most relevant members. It should make it feel natural to reach out and say hello. This should be the norm, not the exception. But it’s not the norm EXCEPT ON ONE PLATFORM. — So, how’d we get here? Here’s the truth that no one likes to say out loud— Those platforms you’re used to joining to meet people on the same path? THEY WERE ALL BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO ALREADY KNEW EACH OTHER. Which means they make it nearly impossible for new members to meet others. — To be fair, it’s not their fault. They’ve built VERY successful platforms serving people who already know each other and want to collaborate: +Slack - small tech teams +Discord - friends playing video games together +Facebook Groups - college groups But 2024 is not 2014 and we need something different. — Mighty Networks is different. We’ve set the gold standard for modern community platforms, supporting some of the biggest course creators in the world. How? By NOT building a community platform. We’re building a NETWORK EFFECT PLATFORM. One that gets more valuable to every member with each new person who joins. We call it ‘people magic.’ And it makes Mighty Networks a COMPLETE platform with community PLUS courses, challenge, memberships, and events—all powered by AI to make connections between your members feel natural. — People magic isn’t available anywhere else. It doesn’t come standard on other limited ‘all-in-one’ community platforms AND… When your members can actually meet each other on software that breaks the ice? It’s indescribable joy (not to mention wild profitability).

“Thank you so much! That was brilliant. Explained very simply and easy to follow! I am 77, so I am glad it is easy to follow.” This was a recent comment on one of my video tutorials on my YouTube channel and it really made me smile 😊 You see, there is a common thought that YouTube videos need to be fast-paced, exciting and full of props, chat and fancy editing in order to keep the audience engaged. That might be true for the entertainment channels but if you’re at work and you’re stuck on a particular problem with your Gmail, and go to YouTube to search for answers, then you want an easy to follow, step-by-step video telling you what to do. That’s what my channel is all about. Simple, jargon-free, non-techy, helpful tutorials. I have over 150 videos on there & not all of them are Google Workspace related (you’ll also find answers to some really frustrating MS Word questions too). Go take a look, and hit subscribe if you like what you see, thanks! https://lnkd.in/eTsrfFJ7

🌟 Sparking Innovation: A Tale of Mentorship and Growth! 🌟 Glad to Share how a Boring Event Lead the Birth Of A Tech community I attended my first bad tech event last year, where some of the volunteers were more interested in making TikTok videos, and vibing to songs than in volunteering. Picture this an event in disarray, and boring and some attendees are streaming football matches as they weren't gaining from the sessions or the sessions didn't meet their expectations. with each passing moment. Amidst the chaos, I found myself in a conversation that would change everything. Inspired by our shared passion for tech and community, I issued a challenge to a friend: build a tech community from the ground up. After he kept complaining about how he wished there was a tech ecosystem in his School, like my school had, and the lack of a tech community or enthusiast. Fast forward to today, and the results are nothing short of extraordinary! Curious to witness the transformation firsthand? Dive into the full story and experience the power of turning frustration into action. https://lnkd.in/eC83hmC9 #TechCommunity #Innovation #Mentorship #LinkedInPost

Want to know why I have one of the most profitable and active online communities on the Skool platform? I built a 70,000+ member community that generates 7 figures annually, and it's because I focus on connections instead of numbers. Here's exactly what I do: 1. The Daily Engagement System • Show up daily (no exceptions) • Reply to every comment within 2 hours • Share wins AND failures • Ask thought-provoking questions • Celebrate member victories Consistency beats perfection. You also level up faster with consistency too. 2. Give Your Content A Theme • Monday: teaching • Tuesday: case studies • Wednesday: Q&A sessions • Thursday: member spotlights • Friday: implementation a challenge Use whatever themes work for you. 3. The Connection Framework • Welcome every new member personally • Remember key details about members • Connect members with similar goals • Create accountability pairs • Foster micro-communities People join for content. They stay for the community. 4. Build Trust • Share behind-the-scenes content • Admit when you're wrong • Show up even when tired • Document your journey • Be vulnerable about struggles Trust takes months to build. Seconds to lose. 5. The Scalable Support Structure • Train community leaders • Create clear guidelines • Build FAQ resources • Set response time standards • Automate repetitive tasks My results: • 70,000+ active members • 92% retention rate • $200k+/month in community revenue • 300+ success stories • 2 hours daily investment Common mistakes: • Focusing on quantity over quality • Inconsistent presence • No clear community purpose • Weak boundaries • Too many platforms Implementation steps: • Define your community purpose • Choose one platform *cough* Skool *cough* • Create daily content themes • Show up consistently • Celebrate ALL wins Your challenge: • Pick your platform • Define your purpose • Create 7 days of content • Engage daily • Track results Drop a "🤝" if you're ready to build a thriving community. — ♻️ Repost if this helped you and follow Max Perzon for more insights on community building and business growth. Join our Skool Masterclass community to see these principles in action: https://lnkd.in/dSCth_K7 Remember: communities are built one conversation at a time. Show up. Add value. Stay consistent. Trust the process.
