Position: Senior Manager / AGM – Fabrication.
Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Automobile) with 15 to 20 years of sound experience required.
Process Knowledge/Skill requirements:
- Expertise in Fabrication processes Press shop ,bending , Shearing , forming, Welding
- Sound knowledge on tooling & related process, Jigs and fixtures & its maintenance
- Fabrication (Turrets, Bending , Welding, Laser cutting, Robotic welding & Press Operation
- Material Flow and management
- Planning of production as per the daily / weekly and monthly requirements
- Strategic Capacity Planning
- Raw Material understanding and consumption planning
- Target Setting for staff and workers
- Training , developing & Multitasking of supervision
- Maintaining FIFO in the plant
- Knowledge about Pre treatment process and its impact
Continous improvements:
- Understanding on Value stream Map
- Identifying NVA and chanellising the improvement Points to drive transformation
- Innovative Mindset towards newer/benchmark solutions
- Driving operations thru DWM in the functions
- Improvement in Productivity, Cost , Yeild of materials, Delivery constantly YOY basis
- Non Moving / Slow moving inventory reduction

- Knowledge on SAP System (PP)
- IOT Environment and data analysis
- Promoting concurrent system operation
- Planning vs Actual adherence control
- Understanding of Manpower planning and capacity monitoring thru SAP
- Understanding of time measurement and routings
- Knowledge on Heijunka ,levelled production
- Knowledge on practising and handling the Audits like IATF, ISO, EHS, Various customer audits
Manpower Handling:
- Target Settlement with Workers
- Constant Watch about Indiscipline on the floor
- Communication and training to workers perpetually
- Inculcating habits of 5s, Preventive maint techniques to be undertaken
- Alignment of worker groups to Organisational goals
