A technique for more effective multipurpose robots Let's say you want to train a robot so it understands how to use tools and can then quickly learn to make repairs around your house with a hammer, wrench, and screwdriver. To do that, you would need an enormous amount of data demonstrating tool use. Existing robotic datasets vary widely in modality -- some include color images while others are composed of tactile imprints, for instance. Data could also be collected in different domains, like simulation or human demos. And each dataset may capt... Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gDUFq766 . . Master Proposal Defense Session: Advanced Control Systems for Two-Wheeled Self-Balancing Mobile Manipulators. This research focuses on developing a control system to maintain stability while handling objects with uncertain characteristics. By combining the mobility of a robot and the dexterity of a manipulator, the study aims to enhance efficiency in object transportation with minimal energy consumption. Key objectives include formulating the equations of motion, impact analysis, and designing control algorithms to ensure stability despite variations in object weight and shape. #mobilerobots #controlsystems #nonlineardynamic #mobilemanipulator #roboticmanipulation #robotlearning #Intelligentcontrol

Many have faced bandwidth limitations with competitive PSU systems, but our solution changes the game. With our Power Supply System at full throttle on the Blue Robotics BlueROV2, and even with a Ping360 sonar connected, we achieve over 70 Mbit of remaining bandwidth across a 250m tether - proving high performance without compromise. Quick recap: • 1500W Output: Powers your BlueROV2 efficiently. • Over 70 Mbit Bandwidth: Maintains superior communication, even with sonar and other optional tools installed. • Up to 450meters Tether: Long-distance operation without losing signal integrity. #SubSeaLed #BlueROV2 #UnderwaterExploration

Finally! All the subsystems work well. Very close to the final tests and assembly. STMicroelectronics LSM6DSL with LIS3MDL are being used in the board as IMU, it would be interesting to leverage the device's Step Detection and Tilt Detection for stability control and distance calculation. #robotics #electricalengineering #hardware

Large photovoltaic power stations in deserts, water, farms, etc. are usually not convenient and cheap to clean. Long-term dust coverage affects the power generation rate and reduces profits. Using robot cleaning is one of the good solutions. It does not require manual supervision. The robot can clean at any time or at regularly according to your needs. Using a low-cost and convenient cleaning solution can solve your big problems.
Our G1 robot is cleaning a large power station. It can be set to clean automatically at a scheduled time without the need for human assistance.
