This is an amazing example of someone who got to use the world as a classroom, learning to think through problems and ask questions to seek truth, follow logic. It’s way easier said than done, and I am genuinely curious about who are the other people he must have in his life to guide, encourage, challenge him. Sometimes I wish public education was more about these kinds of comprehensive, hands-on, real-world learning experiences. Infusing regular learning things like math and English into a project like this. Robotics is another great example of how learning can be done immersively.
