Do you find yourself struggling with your body image? You are not alone. A recent Mental Health Foundation survey found that among 13 to 19 aged-youth, 35% said their body image causes them to “often” or “always” worry. Our clinicians put together strategies and skills to help you bolster your self confidence and learn how to communicate your difficult feelings and emotions. Visit our LinkTree (https://lnkd.in/gGtwaQEv) to access the Body Image Workbook and begin your journey of self discovery and love. In closing #NationalWellnessMonth, we remain focused on uplifting our community by providing resources through our clinic and counseling services at 3rd Street. #WeAre3rdStreetYouth #NationalWellnessMonth

Raising awareness around Student Mental Health is crucial. Some believe that the current generation of students is simply "lazy", a viewpoint that overlooks the underlying reasons why students may feel unproductive, unmotivated, or “lazy.” The transition from one education level or institution to another can be difficult for many reasons, including a lack of familiarity within their new environment(s) and uncertainty of what the future holds. Spreading awareness of Student Mental Health can involve conversations about how we can support the current generation of students and future generations, in a healthy, meaningful, and effective way. Check in with your students or fellow classmates this Student Mental Health Week, it can make someone's day. 😁 #SMHW2024 #StudentMentalHealth #MentalHealth #CampusWellness #StudentLife
