Salaries absolutely belong on job ads. Here’s why: It increases transparency. It creates clarity on what level of job role it is. It’s also clear to candidates what you expect of them. All of this even before applying. It can only backfire if you want to promote a top performer in your team. Because if you promote the A-player, others in the same role will want a promotion. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. #jobads #salary #transparency #hiring

Here’s some things companies should stop promising on job ads… 👉 "Great Culture" 👉 "Invest in you" 👉 "Competitive Salary" 👉 "Diverse" 👉 "Hybrid" 👉 "Best-in-Class Benefits" 👉 "Enhanced Maternity" 👉 "People-first" ... unless of course you can back them up with context. 🤷♂️ How exactly is it enhanced? 🤷♂️ What does diverse actually mean? 🤷♀️ What exactly does 'hybrid' mean? 🤷♀️ How do you know it's competitive? 🤷♂️ How exactly do you invest in people? Start looking past the buzzwords…because applicants are. 🙏 Be clear, be honest, be authentic Be Open 🖤

Social Media Manager ||Brand Executive Assistant|| Virtual Assistant|| Chemical Engineering Graduate
This has been on my mind for a while now. I decided to share with you all But first Happy new Month. its May already 🥳 As a professional in the social media space, I've seen too many job postings that expect one person to do it all - from strategy to content creation, analytics, and crisis management (and more!) - with minimal pay and a hefty dose of responsibility. Chelsea come on now! Let's be real, folks! If you're expecting someone to wear multiple hats, compensate them accordingly. It's time to rethink our industry's expectations and prioritize fair pay for fair work. Here's a revised version of the first conclusion: Dear business owners, let's be honest with ourselves - we can't expect social media pros to do it all without fair compensation. Let's show them the value they deserve. Your social media presence will thank us. Who's with me? Share your thoughts!" #businessowners #faircompensation #responsibilities #socialmediamanager #SocialMediaManagement
