We’re expanding our Teesside centre to meet the growing demand from Tees Valley businesses. Since opening last autumn, we’ve trained over 2,000 people in essential skills required across the energy and wider safety-critical sectors. Now, we’re adding new courses in wind, construction, oil and gas, hydrogen, and carbon capture. These courses include the Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) for the oil and gas sector, H2S Training, OPITO Rigger Competence, OPITO Banksman Competence, IPAF Training for those using powered access equipment, Forklift Truck Training, Medical Services and Face Fit Testing amongst others. Havtil- Havindustritilssynet audited and looks like it didn't go well 🤣 especially when you advertise yourselves as a "low-cost drilling company" COSL - China Oilfield Services Limited Drilling – COSL Prospector – AoC audit – ICT, electrical facilities, safety instrumented systems and technical safety The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has carried out an audit of COSL Drilling Europe (COSL) within ICT, electrical facilities, safety instrumented systems and technical safety. Published: 08 August 2024 The audit was conducted from 2 to 8 May 2024. Objective The objective of the audit was to verify, through spot checks, how the company complies with applicable regulatory requirements within ICT security, electrical systems, safety instrumented systems and technical safety. Result The audit identified 17 regulatory non-conformities. Some of the observations are exempt from public disclosure, with reference to the Freedom of Information Act, section 24, paragraph 3.
