In today's dynamic world, fostering #innovation requires flexible regulatory approaches. Regulatory sandboxes, testbeds, and living labs provide crucial tools for collaboration between regulators and innovators. These experimentation spaces provide the opportunity for innovators to test new ideas and regulators to develop innovative legislation to regulate breakthrough technologies. As such, they provide high potential for #EIC beneficiaries to develop and scale up their disruptive innovations that challenge existing legislative frameworks. How can futures thinking boost Europe’s innovation in deep tech? 💡   ANTICIPINNOV stands for Anticipation and Monitoring of Emerging Technologies and Disruptive Innovation.   This project is a collaboration between the Joint Research Centre’s EU Policy Lab and the European Innovation Council.   Its purpose is to strengthen strategic intelligence capacity through the use and development of anticipatory approaches. 📊   As main outputs, the project recently released: - A literature review of reports on emerging technologies and disruptive innovation; - A series of Horizon Scanning exercises and recommendations; - A report on methods and best practices for technology foresight in Public Funding of Innovation.   Read more : https://lnkd.in/eMyubV4z   What do you think will be the next big tech breakthrough? #foresight #strategicforesight #EU

WSANigeria Jury Process: The Young Innovators Jury process is a strictly democratic and transparent system to guarantee a fair and diverse selection of worldwide digital innovation. Once a digital solution is picked, it has to pass several stages of evaluation and assessment before it can become a Winner. The Jury Process for Young Innovators runs parallel to the WSA Award, with an online jury and a grand jury. However, the jurors are selected specifically for the Young Innovators.
