Wow, just wow.
There's a huge educational need or Governmental laws needed to address and mitigate this kind of pollution occurring in the first place.
But the quantity of pollution caught here in just a few hours. Unbelievable.
So, any keen EMIRATI youth listening in... here's my thoughts in relation to the UAE...
Emirati Youth - high potential graduates with proven study and work ethic - should be encouraged and supported on ENVIRONMENTAL Studies:
Areas that cover various aspects of environmental studies related to coral preservation, mangrove reforestation, ecological ways to reduce CO2 footprint, water preservation, Climate chaos, reducing plastics, pollution, and the technical expertise behind the usage of drones for environmental work.
Here are some relevant fields of study:
1. Environmental Science: Graduate programs in environmental science often cover a broad range of topics related to environmental issues, including conservation, pollution control, and ecosystem management.
2. Marine Biology or Marine Science: Specializing in marine biology can provide a focus on coral preservation, mangrove ecosystems, and water preservation in marine environments.
3. Conservation Biology: This field focuses on the preservation of species and ecosystems, which can include efforts related to coral reefs, mangroves, and other habitats.
4. Environmental Engineering: Environmental engineering programs can provide technical expertise in developing solutions for reducing pollution, designing eco-friendly technologies, and water conservation methods.
5. Sustainability Studies: Sustainability programs often cover topics related to reducing carbon footprints, sustainable practices, and reducing plastic waste.
6. Environmental Policy and Management: Understanding policy frameworks and management strategies is essential for implementing effective environmental conservation initiatives.
7. Drone Technology and Applications and Remote Sensing and GIS (Geographic Information Systems):
To provide technical expertise and skills in using drones for environmental monitoring, data collection, drone re-forestation on a grand scale, and ongoing conservation efforts.
Very exciting areas where Emirati Youth could play major roles in the Future and Preservation of Earth as we know it.
BREAKING: We just made our largest ever plastic catch in the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala. Interceptor 006 prevented 1.4 million kg (3.1 million lbs) of trash from flowing into the Gulf of Honduras and the Caribbean Sea.
All this trash came in just a few hours with the first flush of the 2024 rainy season, and it took us six days to extract it - in 272 truckloads.
A huge effort from our crew in Guatemala and significant impact on plastic emissions into the oceans.
I have created a syngas generator® that converts tires into fuel for gas engines and gas turbine power generators. This process does not emit NOx and results in odorless emissions.
1moWhat should we do with the growing amount of tire waste, but not by burning it, we can reduce landfill waste, we create value from waste! Converting plastic and tire waste into energy carriers such as heating oil, diesel, barbecue coke, syngas used for electricity generation, etc. is an ingenious process that turns waste into usable energy. Waste-to-Energy plant is a great alternative to reduce the area for waste treatment and disposal, in addition to generating energy for all small cities in the region. A good alternative is to create an inter-municipal cooperative between small cities to share costs It is a social advantage if small villages we are supplied with locally produced energy, thus creating local jobs for the local energy using population from waste collected locally, where the government should finance projects, if they do not want their country to be covered in waste . I am a manufacturer and designer in the implementation: www.gumienergia.hu
