Yesterday had the opportunity to participate in the launch of the Americas Partnership Angel Investor Network as part of APEP (Spanish acronym for Alianza para la Prosperidad Económica en las Américas). It was incredibly enriching to strengthen collaboration ties between the private sector and governments in Latin America. LatAm is fertile territory for investing in technology; we have a young and talented population eager for opportunities and that can play a crucial role in the coming decades in contributing to solving some of the most challenging issues the planet will face such as mitigating the effects of climate change and food security. It is our shared responsibility to build the necessary bridges of platform and capital to harness the momentum. Thanks to The White House, Ramon Escobar, Minister Omar Paganini, Ines Bonicelli de Uruguay XXI, IDB Lab, and the government of Canada for the invitation - It was a privilege to share this ambitious mission with ministers and colleagues.
