So Happy International Women Day to everyone not just the women in our business world. It’s time we acknowledge the value we bring and most importantly it’s time men to start advocating and paving the way for more women and diverse background professionals to take the lead. It’s no secret that in some workplaces or industries, still there is #prejudice and #bias when it comes to who is taking the lead positions or even the entry level ones. In TD SYNNEX I’m privileged to see women in leadership positions and I know our organisation is set to provide more and more diversified women leadership role models as we grow as organisation. #diversityandinclusion

Every year, McKinsey & Company release a 'Women in the Workplace' report. This year, we would like to share that although women—and especially women of colour—have remained underrepresented across the corporate pipeline, there is a growing spot in senior leadership. Since 2015, the number of women in the C-suite has increased from 17 to 28 percent, and the representation of women at the vice president and senior vice president levels has also improved significantly. We would like to invite these women to come together, share their learnings and elevate their careers through WLF. As well as keep a focus on how to cut through the lack of change for women of colour to keep growing up the ranks in the corporate world. Coming very soon... #womeninleadership #womenonboards

For the first time ever in 2023, the number of women CEOs matched those named James and John. While it’s a step forward, it’s not the stride we’ve been hoping for. The journey to levelling the playing field isn’t just about numbers; it’s about creating environments where women feel empowered to lead authentically and with impact. DDI’s 2023 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Report shows the ongoing underrepresentation of women in leadership. Kicking off Women's History Month with the USC Women's Conference 24 was an amazing experience! I had the chance to connect with inspiring women leading the way in various industries. Amongst the incredible panels, "The Power of Having a Seat at the Table" really resonated with me. Here are some key takeaways: 1. A diverse group of colleagues can disagree and still work together towards a common goal. 2. Being the different person at the table allows you to bring in a unique perspective and be a pioneer for change. 3. As an ally, there are many roles you can play in your seat at the table. 4. Let's not forget about the empty seats that need to be filled with underrepresented voices.
