Our large Algâu lampshades are now a part of the new workspace at the historic Chancery House, developed by dMFK . We were kindly asked by The Office Group (TOG and Fora) to supply the larger seaweed lampshades to sit above the desk spaces. The new interior, designed by Norm Architects, includes a wide range of natural materials as part of the design, creating a calm and comfortable environment. Soothing material palette with vertical timber slats envelop the cabins, providing privacy while allowing natural light to flow into the central open-plan space.  3. Biophilic ceilings lift the plane of greenery thus freeing up circulation 4. Natural wood panelled walls balance the acoustics of the exposed industrial ceiling. 5. Respecting the existing architecture of the space, Intelligent storage systems inhabit the deep window sills reinforcing openness in the floor plate. 6. Peripheral orientation of cabins ensures natural light and open-plan seating generates intuitive circulation routes. The approach for lighting for the VIP office spaces aims to create a visually comfortable contrast between the functional spaces and the circulation areas around them. Lighting highlights the desks, task areas seating spaces with sufficient illuminance yet remain subtle in its brightness as a light source for a comfortable working environment. The selection of lighting elements is intentional for the refurbished office spaces to blend naturally in the existing 60x60 grid ceiling in terms of size and material finish.
