We're excited to share "Echoes Unbound," our latest pavilion project featured at KLAF 2024, which thoughtfully aligns with this year's theme: Space, Time, and Meaning. This project stands as a testament to our commitment to sustainability and innovative design, repurposing salvaged timber that once served as the backbone of traditional Malaysian architecture. By breathing new life into these materials, we not only preserve their historical value but also highlight the importance of sustainable practices in modern construction.
The pavilion offers more than just a visual experience—it creates a community space where visitors can engage with both the environment and each other. The carefully arranged timber strips allow natural light to filter through, casting intricate patterns of light and shadow, while the open design encourages interaction with the surrounding landscape. This connection between the natural and built environments invites contemplation and strengthens the bond between people and place.
As ESG considerations become increasingly central to business strategies, "Echoes Unbound" illustrates how environmentally conscious design can also create aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces. We believe that sustainability and innovation go hand in hand, and we’re eager to collaborate with developers, business owners, and clients who share our vision. Together, we can create spaces that not only meet the needs of the present but also honor the past and protect the future.
