Online shopping: when do customers most often abandon a purchase? 🛒❌ A recent study based on over a million German online shoppers reveals that user behavior is more complex than previously thought. The time of day and the device used play crucial roles. German shoppers are most active at 9 am and 6 pm, with most purchases abandoned in the evening. Key findings include: 📱 63.4% of users shop via smartphones, and these users abandon carts more frequently (73%) than desktop users (66%). 💻 Purchase abandonment varies by time and device: smartphone users mainly abandon in the evening, while desktop users do so in the morning.
