NEW EXTENDED DEADLINE! We invite cross-functional teams of students, staff, administrators and faculty from each campus to apply for the 2024-25 Middle Leadership Academy by Friday, September 20. The Academy is an academic, year-long, professional development opportunity for evidence-based projects, collaborative learning, and leadership development. The program is grounded in a problem-based learning model that motivates participants to “lead from the middle” as they explore and apply strategies to support equitable student learning, engagement, progression, and success on their campuses. Interested teams should identify a team lead that will complete and submit the application on behalf of your team. Learning outcomes: *Equity – Examine inequities in student outcomes and understand the contributing sources at their CSU campuses. *Knowledge – Apply research-based evidence to advance equitable student success efforts on campus via a project-based model. *Assessment – Apply knowledge of assessment measures to appropriately develop and implement a plan to assess project interventions. *Relationships – Build relationships with colleagues on their campus and from across the CSU who are involved in campus-level efforts supporting equitable student success. *Leadership – Build leadership identities, skills, and agency to help lead equity-driven change within the CSU. It is time again to solicit nominations for the AuE Distinguished Alumni Award. You can see details and submission requirements below. All submission content must be sent to automotive@clemson.edu by 11:59pm on Thursday, February 15th, in order to be considered! Award Details -Recognizes distinguished alumni from AuE for their accomplishments in the auto industry or academia. -Winners have travel and accommodations covered by the department to our annual Fellowship Ceremony. -Award recipient will be expected to give short remarks at the Fellowship Ceremony. -Materials must be submitted together and are due February 15th to automotive@clemson.edu. Requirements -2 letters of recommendation (1 from current or past supervisor, and 1 from colleague or former AuE Faculty.) -Updated CV/resume. -Personal statement indicating why the individual is deserving of this award, no more than 1 page in length. -All submitted materials together should not exceed 6 pages in length. -Open to all alumni, regardless of current position. No minimum required time post-graduation to be eligible. -Self-nominations or external nominations are accepted.
