Today, I attended Bisnow’s event looking at the future of Reston and Herndon. The top two questions I asked at this event, 1. What are your goals at an event like this? 2. Who do you want to meet here today? As someone whose only been to a few #bisnow events, I’m a little fish in a big pond. These events are more focused on not just construction, but land development, hospitality, and government. And every other corner in between that helps make the industry run. So, my conversation needs to change accordingly. My initial goals? - Understand others motivations - Make meaningful connections Great insights on the Marriott development from the team at Donohoe Construction Company, Donohoe Development Company, and Donohoe Hospitality Services. ❓How do you approach an unfamiliar networking environment❓ ——— #networking #relationships #business #businessdevelopment #realestate #herndonva #restonva
