Being a frontend developer who loves exploring new tools, I stumbled upon tldraw. I had heard about it but never really got a chance to dive in. This time, I decided to give it a shot. 🚀 Integrating tldraw into my React app was incredibly straightforward. Within minutes, I had a fully functional drawing canvas up and running. It is open-source, built with React.JS and TypeScript. 🔥Intuitive API and clear documentation makes me feel that I am adding a simple package in my project like UUID. It is very easy to connect with server and store the serialized data. 💊 For anyone looking to add drawing capabilities to their app, I will highly recommend them to try tldraw. 🚀 Introducing Directory Toolbox – Now Live on the JetBrains Marketplace! Ever feel the pain of setting up project directories over and over again? 🙋♂️ Sure, there are plenty of plugins out there, but none felt just right. So, I decided to build my own. ✨ Enter: Directory Toolbox. Yes, it creates feature directories—like most plugins. But I took it a step further. What if you could auto-generate all the necessary sub-features? Done. Then I thought, why stop there? Not everyone uses the same state management. Some love #Riverpod, others swear by #Bloc or #Cubit. So, I added a state management dropdown to give you options. 🎯 With all these powerful features, you can now streamline your workflow in Android Studio. Check it out on the #Jetbrains Marketplace. 🔗 Download and let me know what you think! #DeveloperTools #Jetbrains #AndroidStudio #Productivity #StateManagement #Riverpod #Bloc #Cubit #Flutter #CleanArchitecture

Brainrot Hackathon Recap 🚀 Hey everyone! Just wrapped up the Brainrot Hackathon, which has been a wild ride 🤣. Spent the last 3-4 days cranking out some fun projects, collaborating with amazing people, and getting to know a bunch of like-minded people! Here’s a peek at some of the stuff I worked on: 1️⃣ Oopsie Daisy 🌼 A project I made with Destiny Knoop that helps you pick the perfect excuse when you find yourself in a sticky situation (we've all been there). Whether you’re trying to avoid a Zoom call or need a quick "dog ate my homework" excuse, Oopsie Daisy got your back. 🎯 Check it out: https://lnkd.in/g5ia_jNg 🔗 Devpost: https://lnkd.in/g-uMgcvp 2️⃣ Stonks 🗿 This one is a solo submission. It's basically a meme generator. Initially I fetched the memes from Imgflip's API, then realized the memes they provided were all just templates. So, I switched to use the Google Drive API and used a basic Node app as a middleware to pull data from my huge Drive collection of memes. I also implemented a 'Meme Bucket' idea, where instead of donating money, users can donate their memes. 🎯 Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gQF-xmdA 🔗 Devpost: https://lnkd.in/gwZs4a4T 3️⃣ Don Pollo Quiz This is my other solo submission and it is a trivia app with some Don Pollo-themed twist. Get the questions right or be haunted by Don Pollo! 🎯 Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gY2Ej-eN 🔗 Devpost: https://lnkd.in/gGNHMKyC All projects used React and Tailwind for the UI, and hosted on Vercel (since the free account allows users to host multiple projects, so why not?). During this hackathon, I also used PearAI for the first time and I can say that it's amazing especially when it comes to debugging and writing those long Tailwind classes. Overall, the hackathon was a blast! I not only learned a ton, but I also got to build some funny projects. Huge thanks to Audrey Chen and everyone who joined in! Can’t wait for the next one (and maybe I’ll get some sleep before then 😂). #BrainrotHackathon #DevPost #React
