Welcome to our expert lecture on the diagnosis of congenital heart disease using ultrasound and fetal echocardiography. This video is ideal for medical professionals, cardiologists, radiologists, and students eager to enhance their proficiency in prenatal cardiac diagnostics. In this lecture, we will explore: - An overview of normal fetal cardiac anatomy and physiology. - Common and complex congenital heart diseases, including septal defects, transposition of the great arteries, Tetralogy of Fallot, and hypoplastic left heart syndrome. - Ultrasound and echocardiography techniques for evaluating fetal heart anomalies. - Diagnostic criteria and imaging protocols. - Case studies and clinical examples to illustrate the principles and practices discussed. By the end of this video, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the latest techniques and best practices for identifying and assessing congenital heart disease in fetuses, aiding in early diagnosis and management. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more educational content on fetal diagnostics and medical imaging. The electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) has been around for over a century. Now artificial intelligence (AI) technology can flag heart problems earlier, using a test that is relatively inexpensive, readily available and often already part of a patient's electronic health record. Check out how it works for these three serious heart diseases:

🔬 Exciting Research Update 🔬 In a collaborative study, we've discovered that specific oral bacteria, particularly Streptococcus mitis, can influence lung disease progression and mortality in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Patients with less diverse oral microbiomes, where Streptococcus mitis is predominant, show better lung function and reduced mortality risks. These findings suggest that managing oral microbiota could be a key strategy in treating lung diseases. https://lnkd.in/g3Czc4jq #LungHealth #Microbiome #PulmonaryFibrosis
