The expansion of the Greenpoint community is coming along nicely. The accompanying Rezoning Summary shows how Greenpoint will house local workforces for our area, particularly the White Oak Business Park and future tenants of my Industrial Development Site.
I have 136 acres Industrial Development Site for Sell or Build to Suit @ White Oak Business Park in Appling, Ga., located in Columbia County with 587 ft. of State Hwy road frontage (4 lane road) on Hwy 221 aka Hwy 47 aka Appling Harlem rd., just 1.2 miles off I-20 Exit 183.The 4 connected parcels that make up the 136.55 acre Industrial Development Site are on maps.columbiacountyga.gov as 1668, 1670, 1672 and 0 Appling Harlem Rd.; specifically 2024 Columbia County Tax Parcels 028 026, 028-026B, 028-026C and 028-026E. 90% of timber has been harvested, reducing development timeline.
The business park houses 2 Club Car facilities, 3 Amazons (AGS1 Fulfillment Center, AGS5 Sort Center, and AGS3 Product Testing and Returns Center that is currently within AGS5's building; AGS3 is looking to eventually be inducted into it's own warehouse within business park), etc. Water, sewer, and underground electrical conduit for power has been extended within roughly 500ft. of my property line on the West side where my property line and the business park property line are one and the same. Roads have been extended, curb has been laid, and storm drains installed. The roads, which are Catalyst Dr. and Progress Dr., have been paved and road markers painted/installed, also within 500ft. of my property line. Road signage/STOP signs are up along Catalyst Dr. and Progress Dr., which connect my property to the White Oak Business Park. More sewer pipe has been laid out as water, power and other utilities are being extended the remaining 500ft. to the property line shared by me and the business park. Fire hydrants have been installed the full stretch of Catalyst Dr. and Progress Dr. through the park to my property.
Fiber Optics exist along the entire East end (State Hwy side) and is currently being installed the full length of Catalyst Dr. and Progress Dr. to roughly within 500 ft. of my property line on the West end.
Valve Vaults and Wet Wells for the new Wastewater Lift Station have been installed; Lift Station to be completed soon, roughly 500 ft. from my property line to the West, which is shared by me and the park.
