#IPOPHL calls on fellow World Intellectual Property Organization Member States to reach consensus on key international IP treaties essential for enhancing knowledge economies in developing countries. At the WIPO General Assemblies in Geneva, IPOPHL Director General Rowel S. Barba emphasized the need for action on four treaties: those protecting Traditional Knowledge (TK) and Traditional Cultural Expressions (TCEs), the Design Law Treaty (DLT), and the Treaty for the Protection of Broadcasting Organizations. These treaties aim to safeguard cultural heritage, simplify design protection, and secure broadcasting rights.
