21st April ~2024 Salvation & Nirvana at the same ghat! Last month , we visited one of the holiest pilgrimages in India, Haridwar, or the ‘gateway to gods’, where Ganga, the sacredest of all Indian rivers, enters the Indo-Gangetic plains. What was fascinating was that in one part, people were celebrating rituals relating to birth ( mundan, thread ceremony etc) on the other side, people were doing ashthi visarjan and praying for the departed soul. Whatever the occasion, it is believed that you can repent all your sins by taking three holy dips along with the chanting of 'Om' in the Ganga river at Har-ki-Pauri of Haridwar .As per the mythology, Goddess Ganga came down from heaven to the Earth for helping mortal humans attain salvation. There are interesting stories related to it. Story 1: The tale of the believer and the skeptic Two people who were living on the banks of the Holy Ganga, were contemplating to take a bath in it. One was a believer and the other skeptic. Eventually, they both went ahead and did take a dip. While the skeptic came out with a clean body, the believer came out with a clean body and a clean mind! Moral: These opportunities for redemption (including this one) are given to us to give us a chance to start our life afresh. These are reset buttons that will stop us from going down a negative spiral. There is an interesting story told by Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. When someone goes near Ganga, all his sins will go away from him and settle on the tree in the bank. The person will go take a dip. Once he comes back, the sins will again enter in him. Indirectly, he is saying that unless the person changes from inside, there is no extra benefit in the external act of dipping in any river. Once a person is enlightened, he no longer bears any karmic account. He is removed of all the past karma accumulated over multiple life times. I feel Ganga represents the river of knowledge (spiritual). So you have to immerse yourself in spiritual knowledge and become a self-realized being. Yes,a dip in to Ganga can rid you of your sins as long as that Ganga is the Ganga of Self knowledge and not just a mere river. #spiritual #crearcbyneha

#newdaynewchapter is a Blog Narrative co-founded by Kishore Shintre to write a new chapter everyday for making "Life" and not just making a "living"
#newdaynewchapter Although they are not sisters but they are three major Goddesses in Hinduism. They are collectively called Tridevi (consorts of Tridev). Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge ,arts, music, beauty, learning, etc. She is the wife of Lord Brahma (The Creator). Goddess Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth, fortune, beauty, positivity, prosperity etc. She is the wife of Lord Vishnu (The Preserver). Goddess Shakti, commonly known as Goddess Parvati is the Goddess of Power, beauty, love, destruction, devotion, fertility, nourishment etc. She is the wife of Lord Shiva (The Destroyer). So, these three Goddesses represent many qualities that should be there in us. So they have one thing in common, that all three are equally supreme. Goddess Saraswati only has a Shanta Rupa (peaceful form) All the Goddesses are aspects of the one and same Mahashakti - Great Energy. This is from Chapter 4 of the Lakshmi Tantra which is part of the Pancharatra corpus. That is myself famed as the exquisitely limbed Mahalaksmi, also known as Mahashri Chanda, Chandi and Chandika I am also called] Bhadrakāli, Bhadrā, Kālī, Durgā, Maheśvarī and Trigunā and since I am the wife of Bhagavat (the Holy One), I am also known as Bhagavatī. These and many more are considered to be my names caused by the various modifications of my original state and I shall describe them in full. Shri Mataji ki Jay.

Recipient of following awards Most Inspiring Personality Award-2023 2023' National iconic personality in authorship and creative writing" at Atal Samman Sammelan 2023 National Gallantry Award
There is only one God. Hindu India accepted each God as a reincarnation of the Supreme ie the God. If you observe an Ocean, you will see so many small, medium and big waves? Where have they come from ? Until they appear as waves we call them a wave, then they merge again into the Ocean, All the waves are similar. How many waves are there totally in the Ocean? Can we really count? So is the case of various paths leading to God or one may say that there are crores of Gods or messengers of Gods ie not only a few crores but entire population on Earth may be considered Gods ie billions of Gods. How many ? We really do not know. All that exists in Universe is nothing but part and parcel of the cosmic force or the God or the Brahman. So, the thought, the mind, the thinking, the dream, the dreamer, the Miserliness, The Bravery, the Timidness, the Knowledge, the Education, The ignorance, The arrogance, The innocence, The Sickness, The Health, The body, The house we live in, The garden (Vana Devata), The satisfaction, The dissatisfaction, The happiness, The unhappiness etc so many things , all things in the life are vitally important and seen as Gods. This is nothing but the expression that every thing in the universe is God, All animate & Inanimate Things or beings are God. there is nothing that is not God. Therefore to understand the concept of God and our origin, this is important to know about hinduism and our ancestors https://lnkd.in/g2Be_spj https://lnkd.in/gvy6rmqT

𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 - 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒃𝒖 𝑫𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊 𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 Hindu Dharma, in which other philosophies springing up from this part of the world are inherently incorporated, is not just a platform to unite a community but a quest and a vision. It endeavors to explore questions like 'Who am I ? Where do I come from ? What is purpose of life ? What is the universe ? How did it originate ? What is its future ? And what is the relationship between an individual and the entire cosmic world ? Temples serve as symbolic representations. Shiva isn't merely the name of a living being with matted hair, a snake around the neck, and a damru in hand, it's as much true of visual representation applicable to other deities. For an ordinary person, connecting with the formless and attributeless is challenging, but a tangible, adorned form seems more accessible. Hence in Hindu tradition, there is a presence of visual or idol worship. Idols serve as a foundation for faith development. Our growth remains inhibited until we have faith. Faith begins with birth of an individual. Parents have faith in their child and vice versa, enabling them to live together & prosper together. If faith is broken, life becomes purposeless. The faith we have in an individual is akin to the faith in the entire cosmos. Living with faith is essential. Faith is not only about virtues but also about ideals. Whether it's Shiva, Ram, Allah, Christ, Mahavir, or Guru Nanak, their qualities and ideals become the focal point of our faith. We therefore worship their ideals in the form of idols. These tangible representations awaken faith in our hearts, guiding us and showing us the path. Bhagavad Gita emphasizes this in so many words and mandates not breaking someone's faith. Faith is a powerful force that shapes our beliefs, directs our actions, and connects us to a higher purpose. The Abu Dhabi temple is significant not because it is established as a Hindu temple in a Muslim nation but because it provides an opportunity to understand the faith, foster thoughts, promote mutual understanding, and develop better relationships. This is crucial for our collective existence and progress. #HarmonyInFaith #AbuDhabiTemple #HinduPhilosophy #IdolWorship #FaithDevelopment

This period is often seen as a time of renewal and growth. Overall, Shravan is a month of heightened religious activity, cultural festivities, and spiritual reflection, deeply ingrained in the Hindu tradition.

The nature of God is a crucial divergence. Aniruddha Acharya believes God is formless but can take corporeal form, drawing an analogy with water. In contrast, @SaintRampalJiM, referencing Vedic verses and Gita Chapter 4 Verse 32, asserts that God has a human-like form. Aniruddha Acharya emphasizes salvation as a state of mind, contending that controlling the mind is the key to attaining it. In contrast, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj, drawing from the Bhagavad Gita, asserts that complete salvation involves finding a Tatvadarshi Saint and acquiring true spiritual knowledge. The article delves into the spiritual landscape of India, addressing the challenges faced by devotees in identifying the true path to salvation. It compares the perspectives of Aniruddha Acharya and Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj on fundamental aspects of spirituality.
