They provide HR support, advice, and solutions to help drive organizational effectiveness. 4. Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter: This role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and selecting qualified candidates for job openings. Compensation and Benefits Specialist: These specialists are responsible for developing and administering compensation and benefits programs. Where’s Ardmore, OK? That’s a great question, but the better question is are you willing to relocate to grow your career? After a little research I discovered that Ardmore is really close to Texas -1hr/42m from Dallas and 1hr/32m from Fort Worth, by car. In fact, Tulsa, OK is further away at 2hr/42m by car. I’ve relocated twice as an adult; once for a job and the other for happiness. Both were pivotal moments in my life and I would do things the same way if there was a do over. I think we would all agree that the backbone to most companies (if not all) is their HR department. From recruitment, to onboarding, to training, to compliance, to OPEN ENROLLMENT, HR does it all!!! (and I am sure there's WAY more) To my HR team, do not get burned out as we approach open enrollment / year-end, bring on some contract professionals so you can take that PTO time that you probably are putting off and know that work will still be getting done and actually disconnect.
