I love my job. I get to meet important people and pull serious expressions. 👀 Seriously though, my job is all about connecting great people and creating great business opportunities.🤝 I recently had the privilege of connecting Nathaniel Milner of BAI to President Fedriga and Lydia Alessio - Vernì of Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia (FVG). We explored sustainable energy investment opportunities in northern Italy. Italy has really opened up to foreign businesses in the last few years, with the FVG region hosting #SelectingItaly last week. Amazing how much energy it gives when meeting our partners and being able to share ideas! Last week we had Vaisala’s EMEA region’s partner event in Malaga, Spain. And the hot topics were (some of them😌): The world premiere of Vaisala’s brand launch and brand content sharing with partners. Various talks about how we’re #takingeverymeasure for the planet, and the strategy going forward. Idea gathering about how we can improve our cooperation for the benefit of the end-customer. Quite many topics and some new priorities were raised. And we concluded that one size never fits all, which is one of the reasons we value our local partners and distributors highly. New connections were formed. And a note to self when evaluating the value of the event: Face to face & human to human communications will make any future teams call, email chain, digital tool usage and phone call more efficient and productive. It will help us reduce mis-understandings and significantly increase innovation!
