Lake of the Ozarks Shootout did not disappoint. We joined Team Montlick Racing for the weekend covering their full experience. 🏁🎥
Kicking off with the street parade, Make A Wish event, poker run & finishing with the last 2 days of the shootout. Team Montlick was active on the water and in the marketing scene!

A few weeks ago, we were invited up to Salisbury Racecourse, to help showcase the first day at the races!
This video opens with me getting the rig ready to go! and of course going over what I am planning to film with and why.
Leading into use starting film our establishes. as well showcasing people coming to the event. Slowly starting to follow people into the rest of the racecourse. To start capturing the atmosphere.
The racecourse has also booked a set of children's entertainment, so part of my job was to help showcase the entertainment as well.
After this, I swapped my lens to 18 to 200 so I have more range. before going to meet the houses at the Parade ring. before the first race!
After this, my main focus was to build a small story of clips to showcase a "race" taking place. of course, I can't be in three places at the same time, so I needed to use the first race as my ending shot, followed by the following races to get my middle ( house running past the Cathedral view ) ending with the starting shot of them, leaving the gates.
After getting 95% of what I needed for the story I was looking to tell, I double-checked my shot list for this film and got anything else I felt would be useful for the edit!
