Yesterday we hosted our Conceptual Design Review. We’ve been working towards this for nearly 5 months! This was an 8 hour information session with NRC, DOE, and other key parties to walk through our complete conceptual design, and collect questions. Next, we’ll start work on building physical prototypes for testing, and iterate further on our design. More Aalo Atomics announcements coming soon… stay tuned!
Great work guys! The level of details, about the design as well as understanding of the next steps, that the team was able to provide was amazing. The fact that this was achieved in such a short time was incredible. I am sorry I was not be able to be there in person to celebrate this achievement by a team of innovative doers.

5moCongratulations! Very exciting to see; we want new promising designs to further advance and ultimately become reality. If I may be captain obvious, best assure any successfully tested prototype as was fabricated was/is traceable to documented/electronic record (initiated and maintained throughout fabrication) to fully substantiate nuclear safety integrity to extent critical (importance), via QA program. Any subsequent modified prototypes and eventual production units need to be traceable to fully substantiated satisfactory test(s). All best!
