This is real life. Last month I led a @FEMA L0105 Basic Public Information Officer training that concluded with a storm and flooding scenario. In that scenario, this log-clearing equipment was broken, leading to the closure of the interstate freeway and a major state highway. Scenarios like this help us train for how to respond, and with whom we need to work, in real disasters. #professionaldevelopment #training #emergencymanagement #PIOLife
