Subject:URGENT: Fraudulent Job Offer in the Name of Britannia Company Dear Britannia HR Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a serious matter regarding fraudulent activities being carried out in the name of your esteemed company, Britannia. I recently received a call from someone claiming to be Pooja Sharma, (+917291060159) an HR representative from Britannia, Bangalore. The caller informed me that my profile had been shortlisted for a data entry job with a salary range of ₹25,000 to ₹30,000, and that I would receive the job without any interview process. However, the caller mentioned that before the process could be completed, I was required to pay a refundable fee of ₹450, in addition to providing my Aadhaar ID and passport-size photograph and other details. The offer seemed suspicious as it is highly unusual for a well-known and reputable company like Britannia to ask for money during a recruitment process or offer a job without an interview. I am concerned that this could be part of a larger fraud scheme targeting job seekers under the guise of your company. This could potentially harm the reputation of Britannia and result in significant losses for innocent people. I kindly urge you to investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to identify and apprehend the individuals involved in this fraudulent activity. As a leading organization with vast resources, I believe Britannia has the capability to address this issue and protect the interests of job seekers who may fall victim to such scams. These criminals could be defrauding hundreds of people on a daily basis, and immediate action is required to prevent further harm. Thank you for your attention to this matter. #Topic of the Day: #My Career Journey: From Courier Boy to Senior Manager. It's been quite a journey. Starting as a courier boy in Delhi and become a senior manager - it's a path filled with challenges, lessons, and invaluable experiences. Though I've come a long way, there's still much to learn and achieve.. In 2005, I received a job offer from ABN Bank. Initially excited about the opportunity, I quickly realized it wasn't the private bank position I had anticipated. The first two days seemed promising, with frequent coffee breaks. However, on the third day, the reality of the job became apparent. I was given a landline phone and tasked with making outbound calls to sell credit cards. Despite my efforts, I was unable to secure a single sale. "I eventually realized it was a third-party company selling credit cards on behalf of banks. Disappointed, I immediately resigned." Determined to find another job, I began applying again. Afraid of worrying my family, I kept my search to myself. Despite my efforts, I continued to face rejection. During one of my walks, I met a courier delivery person who suggested I try applying to their company. I attended the interview but was initially unsuccessful. However, they offered me a position as a courier loader for a monthly salary of 2,000 rupees." "Despite my academic qualifications, I was disheartened to be assigned such a physically demanding role. For six months, I endured the grueling task of loading heavy courier packages into trucks. The physical toll was immense, and I often found myself on the verge of tears at night. This experience has instilled in me a deep respect for the hardworking individuals in the delivery industry." Turning point in my career came when I joined Matrix Cellular Service Private Limited. This experience significantly improved my communication skills, both with customers and colleagues.
