The first question that the LinkedIn AI prompts underneath this post by Jon Williams is "Why are inappropriate comments unacceptable in professional settings?" The explanation from the same AI is: "Inappropriate comments are unacceptable in professional settings because they can create a hostile work environment, undermine professional relationships, and violate principles of respect and equality. Such comments can also lead to legal issues and damage an organization's reputation." Their AI program seems to completely fail to understand that inappropriate comments are unacceptable. Full stop. I'm dismayed to have just heard a presenter at #BPCNOLA talking about a "very pretty" member of staff. That may be acceptable language in the special forces; it's absolutely not from a senior member of a leading consultancy at an @APMP event - or, indeed, anywhere.
