I had a great talk with Bryce Barger today on the #DigitalHealthTransformers podcast where we touched on EHR/EMR integration. These are all great use cases for integration in the healthcare space. Healthcare, as we all know, is critical infrastructure. The more we work towards integration and interoperability in the healthcare space, the more we can foster positive patient health outcomes. But more importantly, we need to work towards securing the healthcare space. With attacks at an all time high in the healthcare sector, these integrations can become targets for threat actors leading to a #databreach.

I was recently interviewing a candidate for a Healthcare Consultant role. This confident young guy is acing all my questions. After some warm-up questions, I popped this one: "What's the deal with EHR integration, anyway?" He fires back, "It's all about smoothing out the provider workflow with some nifty automation." He went on to explain, but I'm thinking there's so much more to explore. As we chatted, I started jotting down other cool EHR integration ideas. (Check 'em out in the pic below.) Let's create a list of EHR integration possibilities. Got any gems to throw in? Catriona Tarto Sonia Priscilla García Carter Dunn Noemi R.
