What to do with SAP ECC ? 89 weeks to go (blog was written last year) I need to upgrade this blog with further ideas on how AI, a dirty core and digital upcycling will give CIOs options when assessing their SAP roadmap

𝑯𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑬𝑪𝑪 𝒕𝒐 𝑺/4𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑨? The reason I’m asking is that SAP ECC will no longer be supported after 2027 and should be replaced by the next-generation SAP S/4HANA ERP solution. IT teams, who have dedicated years to perfecting their ECC skills and customizing their systems to align with their business goals, are faced with a challenge as a result. What does it mean? Businesses are given the choice to purchase a maintenance extension until 2030 for an additional 2% in maintenance fees or at least start thinking of SAP S/4HANA Conversion. Here, it is extremely vital for SAP customers to realize that it’s better to develop project outline, forecast the time required for implementation, and secure your implementation partner as soon as possible because resources may become scarce and potentially more costly due to the inevitable increase in demand exceeding supply.
