🌟 Exciting Achievement Alert! 🌟 I'm thrilled to share my latest milestone in my finance journey - participating in the M&A Finance Accelerator Simulation organized by AmplifyME. 🚀 I'm deeply grateful to AmplifyME and Gianni Pera for orchestrating this exceptional opportunity. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team behind the M&A Finance Accelerator Simulation for their hard work and dedication in creating such a valuable experience. 💼 This immersive two-hour event has been a standout experience, offering me the chance to step into the shoes of a global M&A advisor, navigate financial scenarios, and showcase my potential in the dynamic world of finance. Honestly, when I attempted it for the first time a few months back, I didn't perform as well. However, through my continuous learning journey, I've managed to turn the tables and secure a spot among the top performers with a perfect 100% grade. 🥇 Reflecting on my performance, I've identified an area for growth: articulating my reasoning behind key decisions. Specifically, explaining why I made certain choices rather than just accepting them. Strengthening this skill will enhance my effectiveness as an M&A advisor, ensuring that my decisions are strategic and well-founded. As I continue to progress in my finance journey, I'm excited to leverage the knowledge and skills gained from this simulation. Here's to more achievements and growth ahead! 📈 #M&A #Finance #AmplifyMe #UBS #Simulation #ProfessionalDevelopment #Networking

Remember that electrifying moment when textbook theories collide with real-world financial uncertainty? That's exactly what I experienced the 2nd week of January during AmplifyME's intensive Trading & Financial Markets Analysis Bootcamp. Drawing on my expertise from my concurrent master's degree in Investment & Finance at Strathclyde Business School, this intensive program was an incredible opportunity to see at least some translated theory turned into action. I am proud to share that I successfully earned a Level 5 Diploma in Trading & Financial Markets Analysis/Applied Finance & a Mergers & Acquisitions Finance Accelerator Certificate, accredited by the London Institute of Banking & Finance. AmplifyME's reputation as the go-to training provider for financial giants like UBS, Citadel, & Morgan Stanley- clearly stands undefeated in their field of expertise. Their commitment is exceptional and they truly love what they do. Throughout the week, each day presented a new facet of the financial world (and thus new challenges!). 🌍 Global Asset Management: Retracing real-life events and navigating global market volatility such as rising interest rates, news headlines, and other macro trends made me able to successfully be placed in the top 10 out of 250 other investors. This was a ride that cemented the crucial link between global trends and market volatility! 💼 Investment Bank Sales & Trading: This day was primarily focused on engaging in client communication and managing market risk. We were put in the positions of being both Market Makers but also the clients which proved invaluable. I still can not shake the enjoyment of the pressure that was simulated. 🏦 Mergers & Acquisitions: We were placed in a random team of up to 30 individuals and I was lucky enough to be appointed as the Chief Content Creator of the group. My task involved spearheading the crafting of data-driven and a visually captivating sales deck. Our collective effort landed us a thrilling 2nd place finish among 10 teams, leaving a lasting impression on over 250 investors. Thank you, AmplifyME, (and also Strathclyde Business School for making this possible) for this enriching experience that has undoubtedly broadened my horizons and equipped me with valuable skills for the dynamic world of finance. Safe to say, I'm excited for what lies ahead! 💼📊 #amplifyme #strathclyde

Hello everyone! I recently participated in the AMPLIFY ME Finance Accelerator Simulation Experience. This was centred around Asset Management and Investment Banking and was incredibly enlightening. I immersed myself in the intricacies of managing assets and learning crucial strategies for optimizing portfolios. Understanding the balance risk and return in investment decisions was particularly insightful and has equipped me with practical skills in real-world scenarios. I gained comprehensive understanding of financial markets, and the role of investment banks in facilitating corporate transactions. Collaborating with other peers present in this simulation and receiving feedback from an industry expert was invaluable. This simulation not only deepened my knowledge but also sparked a passion for the dynamic field of finance. I am very excited to leverage these insights as I pursue opportunities in finance. #AssetManagement #InvestmentBanking #FinanceSkills #AmplifyMe

Grateful to have taken part in the Finance Accelerator offered by AmplifyME. Takeaway: 📰 The buy side (Asset manager) and sell side (investment bank) player simulation highlighted the important factors market makers and clients take into consideration to make informed decisions. In particular... 🏦 Investment banks (sell side): - These are the market makers and are responsible for delivering orders by providing quotes to clients - Goals are high commission (made by facilitating the clients orders), positive realized profit (P&L > 0) and well managed risk (risk in this sense is derived by taking the opposite position when facilitating a trade) - manage risk by selling / buying in the exchange 💱 Asset managers (buy side): - Portfolio manager with USD$20m allocation - Construct equally weighted portfolio, and rebalance accordingly to market volatility - Communicate with investment banks for more favorable prices (through lower Bid-Ask/Offer spreads) - Maximize Equity / profit - React swiftly to market news My performance: 📈 Unfortunately for me I scored on the lower percentiles for both simulations, although I am grateful as this has shed light on gaps in my knowledge that I would have overlooked otherwise. In aggregate I have learnt a lot !! Also a huge thanks to University of Essex and University of Essex Equity Fund for planning the event, hoping for many more in the future 😊

🌟 2 days back, I had an incredible experience diving into the world of Mergers and Acquisitions through AmplifyME 's simulation in partnership with UBS ! 🚀 As a student attendee, I can't emphasize enough how invaluable this two-hour immersion was in understanding the complexities of finance and honing practical skills. From crafting financial models to preparing pitch decks, every moment was a learning opportunity. We practiced being M&A junior #analyst. We got to learn first, then we solved it practically in Excel files as a test (limited time of 1st test of 15 minutes and 2nd of 40 minutes). I attended class a little bit late so, I scored 27/100 in 1st test (I felt disappointed but I joined late so was not able to figure out something in the test and time was also running so fast), I then attended the rest of the class and thought of scoring good as well as to learn it. Guess what? I scored 100/100 in my 2nd test and there were only 5/70 attendees to get 100 and I was one of them, Thankfully! Other than M&A analyst learning, I got to learn 1 more thing. Don't get disappointed and feel for the whole life at any moment. Take failure as a point that you have to improve now and want to get successful. It was just a 2 hours class and just a test, but it taught me this thing as well! I got a Certificate as well (the main thing is not to get certificate only but to learn something). Kudos to Stephen Barnett for creating such a dynamic and accessible platform. Thanks to Dr Rofayda El Hout, CPA, AFHEA for letting us know about this opportunity through university mail and I got registered for this. If you're looking to supercharge your finance education and stand out in the field, I highly recommend checking out AmplifyME's simulations. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! #FinanceEducation #MergersAndAcquisitions #AmplifyYourSkills 📈💼
