I may be a little biased as I happen to know someone involved in creating this report (ahem, Christopher Tack) but I think it's imperative that we look more closely at the digital readiness/literacy of teams using digital technologies across the NHS (particularly given how much is being spent on EPRs and Connected Care Records). Technology can do wonderful things but it's the humans adopting these technologies that will make the biggest changes. Digital is a fantastic enabler of change but too often we see 'pilots' and 'projects' wither on the vine, not because the technology doesn't work but because the teams using the tools weren't properly upskilled from a foundational level. Digital literacy (IMO) doesn't come from going through training on a chosen EPR system, it goes much deeper than that and should be embedded in all NHS training. https://lnkd.in/ef9hwhug

📚 The difference between "how much you know" and "how well you learn" can make or break our success in healthcare. We can have all the knowledge in the world, but it's our ability to continuously learn, adapt, and grow that really elevates patient care. 💡 Image credit: Pejman Milani In nursing, this means we’re not just applying textbook knowledge but also learning from every interaction, every patient, and every community we serve. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new that can improve outcomes and strengthen the bond we have with those under our care. 🌱 And it's not just about our patients—nursing professionals learn from each other too. When we collaborate, share insights, and offer support, we all grow. Success isn't about knowing it all; it's about learning as we go and lifting each other up along the way. 🚀 How have you experienced success through learning?🎤 #nursingsuccess #learningoverknowing #continuouslearning #healthcareleadership #nursesonlinkedin #nurseeducation #professionalgrowth #adaptability #patientcare #nursingcommunity #peerlearning #nursingsupport #collaborativecare #innovationinhealthcare #nursingskills #healthcareteamwork #learningjourney #growthmindset #nursingprofessionals #leadershipinnursing #nursingdevelopment #nurseshelpingnurses #healthcareimprovement #bettertogether #sharedlearning #alwayslearning
