I was captain of my soccer team and captain of my basketball team. If I would have known then what I know now -- that risk of injury, quality of muscle toning, energy levels, and more vary based on where you are in your cycle -- I would have had my teams train differently! I feel proud to be building Aavia, a tool I wish I had across training, sleep, mood, and more growing up, that will benefit half of the world's population!

Are we still sidelining women's health in sports? 👇 New data from England’s Women’s Super League reveals a 6x higher injury risk at certain points in a player’s menstrual cycle. This kind of data is crucial as we push forward in women's sports—accurate stats on performance and injury prevention will change the game. More research needs to be invested in to fully understand and support our athletes' health. Proud that Aavia (776 co) is at the forefront of hormone health, transforming these insights into action for better athlete health and for women across the world. #InvestInWomen

Ah the intersection of my favorite two topics #womenshealth and #msk - there is so much that women's hormonal profile influences and we're just at the tip of unlocking that understanding. I strongly believe that the future of medicine, but particularly in both women's health and Orthopedics is personalized. It 💯 starts with data collection. So excited to follow your journey.

There were a few early studies done a bit ago about the correlation between ACL tears and women’s cycles. Basically the ratio between the hips and knees changes during our cycle leaving us more likely to get injured. Never heard anything about it being more looked into. Sigh.
