In React, Handling state can get tricky when you're doing lots of things like changing or deleting values. That's where useReducer comes in. it's like a super helpful hook in making state management easier. It simplifies how we handle state changes, making it simpler to understand and control. By putting all the state stuff in one place using a reducer function, useReducer makes managing state in React much easier. #StateManagement #ReactDevelopment #useReducer

Since my last posting, I’ve made progress with data fetching — specifically displaying user info on the interface! What I did: 👉 First, I added code to options.js which handles and retrieves access + refresh tokens. 👉 Next, I created a component, UserProfile, which includes the front end UI and uses the ‘useSession’ hook to get info about the user’s session. 👉 Then, I created a PageWrapper component which will wrap around the pages to provide session info using the ‘SessionProvider’. 👉 And then, I used the PageWrapper to wrap the children in my RootLayout. Next up, more API fun! 🙌 #nextjs14 #api #softwaredevelopment
