Hospitality is a career choice that must be connected with passion for service to other people. It is an industry where the main USP is the connection you are able to create with your guests and most profoundly with your teams. Hospitality is a very complex and challenging environment where the engine of your restaurant, bar, hotel or club is the team, and the screws, pistons and different parts of that engine are the team members that form part of it. The main goal for us managers should not be a big number at the end of the month. Revenue is not a a goal, it is a by product of the goal: having a cohesive team, that can projects unity and one common philosophy to every guest at every point of contact. Winning is not an end goal, it is a result of improved defence, better passing, game creation and shots on target.
