#RivalryCorp (TSX-V:RVLY) CEO Steven Salz joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has achieved remarkable results in the third quarter of 2023, setting new records in various key performance indicators. Rivalry reported a betting handle of $105.7 million, marking a significant 50% increase compared to the same period the previous year. The company reduced its marketing spend by 13% while achieving substantial growth in other areas, indicating improved marketing efficiency. Rivalry generated $8.7 million in revenue during the third quarter, representing a notable 22% increase year-over-year. Tecsys beat both topline and EBITDA analyst consensus estimates for Q3. In addition, during the quarter the company rightsized its headcount by 4%, which should help to improve earnings margins in future quarters. SaaS revenue grew by 48%, which above previous guidance. The bottom line is that the outlook going into FY25 is bullish for the following reasons: 1. SaaS revenue growth remains very strong which is key to elevating gross margins, and driving cashflow 2. RPO is now above $150M, which is an indicator for a solid recurring base on which to pile new SaaS revenue. Guidance has strengthened, and during the call management hinted that there is upside potential to guidance entering FY25. All around very solid earnings report.
