ABA Section of Dispute Resolution’s Post

Today, we celebrate Ombuds! 🎉 The American Bar Association recognizes the second Thursday of October as Ombuds Day to highlight the ombuds profession. The goals of Ombuds Day are to improve public awareness of ombuds, to connect ombuds in their respective communities, and to encourage greater use of ombuds programs and services. Join us today at 1 ET to learn more about ombuds. Our program - Exploring the AI Landscape: Challenges and Opportunities for Ombuds - will explore how artificial intelligence impacts the profession. Registration is available at ambar.org/OmbudsDay2024. A special note of gratitude for our fellow members responsible for expanding the Ombuds presence within in our group: Section Chair-Elect Elizabeth Hill, Section Leaders Megan P. Willoughby, Ryan Smith, Ed.D., Marcus Stergio, and Ken Skodacek. Thank you for all you do!
