This type of explosion can happen with any fluid if a pump is operated with suction and discharge valves closed. If a non-hazardous fluid like water can result in the damage shown in the pictures, think how much more severe the damage might be if the fluid is flammable - the released material could catch fire. If the fluid is toxic or corrosive, people near the pump could be severely injured by the released material. Don’t let your pumps run while blocked in!

How to utilise the Test series for the GATE exam? "Attempt - Analyze - Improve" Attempt it first, Analyze it just after completing it, Improve your mistakes taking the help of the notes/material/solutions. Try writing as many tests as you can if you are confident enough in the subject. It helps you to revise the subject in a better way and you remember the topics for a longer duration. Follow the 75-25 rule. Take 75% of your time to write the test and 25% to analyse. Suppose if you are taking 1 hr to attempt a test, at least give 15 minutes for the analysis of the paper. HOW I WISH I COULD BOLDLY SAY TECHNICAL EDUCATION IS THE BEST! But coming through Technical Education myself and being a Technical School Teacher, I would rather say strategically educating your child be it in Grammar, Commercial, Vocational or Technical Education is the key! I give you one example✍🏽 There are so many Technical Schools in +237 which has very little or no facilities and equipment for the children to learn the practicals phase of their studies. Even in most of the schools with the said facilities and equipment, the lapses in the curriculum and system is not helping one bit. Please don’t get me wrong! Personally, it will be a dream come true for my child to be a fine Technician/Engineer, however, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my child also becoming a great Historian, Lawyer, Philosopher, Journalist, Entrepreneur etc, which necessarily doesn’t stem from a technical education background. Thus, I think it boils down to being intentional and strategic on how you choose to educate your child. Which in most cases is simply taking into consideration the child’s interest and ability first, then positioning, possible societal evolvement and means. It's my first time renewing my professional engineering license. State law requires a total of 30 hours of continuing education credit over the 2-year license period.
