Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Certifications in Supply Chain Management preferred.
Experience:
- 6-8 years' experience in a similar field in the GCC.
Job Specific Skills:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Ability to analyse problems and strategise for better solutions.
- Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts.
Job Profile:
Planning, coordinating, and accomplishing the procurement of various jobs, ensuring quality and timely delivery in a highly competitive and efficient manner, with a priority on cost and operational efficiencies. Performing a key role in ensuring the company adheres to budgets and operates profitably, while also meeting the challenging and consistently demanding business requirements, with specific attention to problem-solving in the dynamic environment of facilities management. Engaging in multitasking and procurement activities, including scope preparation, RFQ process, technical bid evaluation, commercial bid evaluation, and related approval activities to issue Purchase Orders and/or subcontract awards. Ensuring the management of work within established procedures to achieve a professional, ethical, reliable, and cost-effective total procurement service for FM through market research, budget and estimating evaluations, whilst also promoting innovative practices.
